Time Flies When We are Having Fun.....

Oh my! Where has the time gone!!!??? I feel terrible for not keeping this blog updated, but between a 15 month old, a 3 1/2 year old and a husband who works his tail off 24/7, this blog has fallen behind! We are right in the middle of the holiday season! Today is my last day of work until Tuesday and I'm ready for a nice break! While Brett has no idea what this holiday season is, Wyatt is 100% enthrawled in the season! All he has asked for is a blue recycle truck and a rake, yes, I said a rake! Can I find a rake? Nope! I told him I was trying to help Santa and the Hannukah man try to find it, but so far, no luck!

We have a lot to be thankful for this year!
1. Brian has a wonderful job (that tends to keep him away from home more than we like, but we are grateful!) and he just won a very large project that will keep him and his team quite busy over the next year! Super proud of our Project Manager!
2. Brett and Wyatt started at a new school in October and Brett is adjusting great and is "one of our favorites"! Wyatt has had a much harder time adjusting, but he is definitely in progress and doing well!
3. I love my job! I'm grateful for this opportunity that came to me in a time that I didn't think I wanted to ever work again!
4. We are all healthy!

We have so much more that we can be thankful for, but those are just a few! This time next year, I will have just come home from being a part of and watching one of my bestest friends embark on a new part of her life! 2012 has a lot to offer, I just know it! I'm looking forward to watching my babies grow up even more than they already have and enjoying every moment of it! Happy Holiday's to all!!!

Brett is 9 Months Old....Seriously?

Where has the time gone??? My baby is already 9 months old and growing like a weed! He is into absolutely everything, climbing stairs, jumping all over his brother and trying to empty our cabinets, one item at a time! I don't remember being this exhausted with Wyatt, but I guess that is because there are 2 little ones to watch now, instead of just 1! Thankfully Brett is an amazing little guy and is pretty happy most of the time....unless he is hungry or tired! He had his 9 month check up today and he is healthy! He is only in the 25th percentile for his weight and height (MUCH smaller than Wyatt!)but she says he looks great! His giggles are the best and watching the relationship between he and Wyatt grow, is probably the most amazing thing ever!!! Wyatt now asks him to play with him and when I told Wyatt it was Brett's birthday (kinda), he said, "is he going to be big like me now Mommy?"....not exactly just yet, but its a comin!!! Love you angel baby!

The Potty Train is Leaving the Station!

Wow! The Potty train finally stopped by our home and picked up one of the most amazing 3 year olds I know (ok, so I may be a bit biased)! Wyatt (and Mommy and Daddy) is finally on the potty train! We are working pretty hard at getting him to wear his big boy pants and he is actually doing a great job! We've only had a few accidents and we couldn't be more proud! We love you bubba, keep up the great work!

Brett is On the Move!

Our little guy started moving overnight, literally! All of the sudden, he is crawling and pulling himself up into a standing postion! I cannot believe how quickly this time is going! I'm sure he is just trying to keep up with his big brother, but OMG!!! He thinks Buddy is his own personal jungle gym and he has tried several times using Wyatt as a jungle gym, and Wyatt says "Mommy, can I push him?"! Um, no, he is still a baby and a lot smaller than you honey!! Wyatt did let me put Brett in the bathtub with him last night and he was trying to show Brett all of the fun times to be had, but unfotunately, Brett got freaked out and starting screaming when Wyatt poured a cup of water over his head!!! Love my boys!

Trash and Recycle

Wow!! Wyatt is obsessed and has been for quite some time! He absolutely loves trash and recycle day....whether that is at Gail's house or at our house! Now, our trash days are on the same day, and it is a whole week that he has to go in between, and that is the longest week ever! He literally sits in the window and watches for the trash men to come around. He has 3 trash trucks (courtesy of Gail!) that he plays with pretty much around the clock! He uses letters from a puzzel, and depending on the color, they are trash, recyle or leaf bags. I pray he grows out of this, but this has been over a year now! He loves to look inside the cans to make sure the trash and recycle is in there and he knows when the lid is open, they have already come and taken it away. I promise you, it is quite ridiculous, but so cute on how obsessed he truly is!!

Wyatt's First Hospital Visit....

Our sweet boy had to have a little surgery yesterday. He was misdiagnosed as a baby and at 3 years old, they found out he had a hernia, not an elevated blood vessell. (the good kind the doctor said....) Wyatt wasn't too thrilled with having to wear the gown they gave him, but Daddy offered him a $1 and life was good and he stopped trying to rip it off.

It ended up being much bigger than they thought and he has 8 stitches inside and just a small "boo boo" on the outside. He did absolutely great and Mommy only melted down twice. I got to go back when he was still in recovery because he was crying pretty hard, but as soon as I whispered in his ear that I was there, he fell back to sleep. When he finally woke up, he was talking normally and just looked half asleep. Once the "la la" drugs wore off, he was back to his normal self and to this moment, has not complained once. I did offer him tylenol last night and he said "will that make me feel better Mommy?".

7 Months....Really???

Our sweet boy! You are 7 months old today! I just can't believe how quickly time is flying by. You are such a good boy....most of the time! This week you have been home with Daddy as Gail is on a cruise and I'm not quite sure Daddy has your feedings down, but thats okay! You are so active! You roll over whenever we're trying to change your diaper! You are already scooting after your brother and I'm not sure he is quite ready to share his prize posessions with you just yet. You talk to us and laugh with us all the time. You almost always have a smile on your face! You always are chewing on something....I think you have some teeth that are trying to come through! You have brought so much to our lives and we are so grateful for that! We love you and cherish every moment with you!
